About Char-Lean
As a happily married mother of three and a certified Personal Trainer, I have a deep passion for fitness and wellness. Being a wife and mother is my greatest joy, but my love for training runs a close second. Training has been a source of strength and support for me throughout my life, and I believe it can be the same for other women.
My journey with training began in school, where I discovered a love for athletics and sports. That passion has continued to grow throughout my adult years, as I’ve explored various forms of training, including gym training, yoga, running, pilates, and my favourite of all, strength training. I’ve been strength training since 2016, and nothing has made me feel as strong, fit, and in control of my body as this has.
With this in mind, I have spent many hours researching and learning about the different cycles that women go through in life, including adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, and now, perimenopause and menopause. I believe that training can make this journey called menopause much easier to manage and less isolating.

With five years of experience working with women going through menopause, I understand the importance of tailored training for these women. I have seen firsthand the benefits that training can provide, such as easing symptoms like anxiety, urinary and pelvic floor loss, low mood, achy joints, weak lower back, brain fog, and weak joints.
I’ve had the privilege of training some amazing women, many of whom have become close friends.
I’ve had the joy of helping them adapt their training to benefit them at different stages of their lives and alleviate symptoms. Even on the toughest days, we’ve worked through them together, and I’ve seen firsthand the positive effects that training can have on their mental and physical health.
As you navigate the menopause, I want to be here to help you take control of your body and feel stronger, both physically and mentally. With the correct training, you can experience fewer symptoms and feel happier in yourself. Give your body the time and attention it deserves and become fit and stronger while beating the menopause.
I would be honoured to be a part of your journey.
Charlene.
