I began my fitness journey over a decade ago. After having three children in three years, I was more determined than ever to regain my body back! With hard work, determination and consistency, my dream became my reality.
Back then, I was Mom to a three year-old boy, a ten month-old boy and a newborn baby girl. Finding the time to workout wasn't always easy, but I wasn't going to let that be my excuse. I had about 20 minutes available each day to exercise. I didn't really have the time for machine cardio, so instead I utilized my busy day for my cardio fix.
I embraced the stair-climbing and house cleaning, played active games with my children, and danced together as a family, all while burning calories! Waiting for a pot of water to boil, I would take one of my children, wrap him or her around my waist and do 100 squats. I would have one of my children hold my leg and I would drag them around the house. I was having so much fun and getting a great work out! They thought I was the best Mom ever! I thought, 'Every Mom should do this!' I was seeing such great changes in my body! I was achieving great results with an assortment of awesome body-weight exercises. I decided to become a trainer so I could teach others how to do the same.
I love training my clients and working towards their goals. I also love my new studio. It's filled with tons of new toys to play with. I will help you set a goal, learn better eating habits and strength training techniques, boost endurance, find motivation, gain muscle, lose fat, and improve your health. The feeling of accomplishment you will have when you are done working out with me is amazing, and will carry you through a wonderful day!
